How links work
Four commercial destinations are approved in the central link register and resolve through internal /go/ routes with sponsored and nofollow attributes. Tools without an approved commercial destination continue to use an untracked official link or no destination.
What does not change
Affiliate status, rate, and vendor access do not enter testing criteria, scores, rankings, or the decision to publish a material limitation.
Reader cost
A commission may be paid by the vendor when an approved link is used. The Research Desk does not state that a price is unchanged or cheapest without a verified commercial record.
